All I need to do is forget to take my usual medication or eat the wrong thing and I am suddenly hit with Acid problems. At this stage it is too late to take some more medication or some of the Gaviscon type liquid suspension. I have found that taking some alkaline salts can help greatly, however, they must be dissolved in water and taste absolutely horrible, even after it is chilled.
